The Lawyer was amused to receive a press release from Masons recently featuring quaint little pictures of a bomb, a skull and crossbones and two flags at the top of the page. This was apparently supposed to be Masons’ logo. More charmingly, there was a little hand waving ‘hello’ at the bottom of the page.
According to the sender of this release, this was not the first mix-up with typefaces. The last time a document was sent to a client pitching for work, the charming wave was replaced by a more vulgar two-fingered salute.
