Berrymans Lace Mawer has enjoyed another year of growth, with turnover up to £40m and profit per equity partner also up.
The firm recorded a profit rise of 5 per cent between 2004 and 2005, bringing average profit per equity partner up to £174,000.
In recent years Berrymans, traditionally an insurance-focused firm, has turned its sights on expansion into other practice areas. Senior partner Paul Taylor said the efforts were paying off.
“Every office turned in a good performance,” Taylor said, adding: “We’re aiming for the same sort of growth next year.”
Berrymans now has a presence in seven UK locations as well as an office in Dubai.
