NORWICH firm Rogers & Norton has become the latest user of Ace's Infinity practice management system to announce its choice of a replacement system in the wake of Ace's decision to scrap the solicitors' version of the package.

The seven-partner firm bought a practice management system from Leeds-based supplier Linetime in May. It says it is on target to get the system up and running by 30 September, when Ace is scheduled to withdraw its support for Infinity.

Ace announced its intention to withdraw Infinity from the solicitors' market last December, although it is continuing to supply systems to barristers' chambers.

Rogers & Norton has bought Linetime's Practice II accounts and time recording system, its DataFlow case management software and its Feestyle fee earner information system.

Partner Nick Norton said Linetime had been chosen because its product "impressed" the firm.
