Mayer Brown snaps up Coudert trio

Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw is the latest firm to benefit from Coudert Brothers’ implosion, hiring partner Paulette Vander Schueren and two other lawyers. Vander Schueren has joined Mayer Brown’s Brussels office and specialises in international trade law and remedy issues. She will be joined in Brussels by trade lawyers Nikolay Mizulin and Madelein Perrick. Vander Schueren said: “At a difficult time for all Coudert partners, the move provides a new opportunity for me and I look forward to the opportunities it will bring in view of the firm’s strengths in trade and customs law policy.”
