Lupton Fawcett's new managing partner

Leeds-based Lupton Fawcett has announced the appointment of Kevin Emsley as its managing partner. Emsley takes over from John Norris, who led the firm for the past seven years. Norris will continue on the executive board and will concentrate on his new role as head of the specialist business services department. The firm has also launched a specialist business unit dealing with town and country planning and environmental law. It will be headed by Marian Griffiths, recruited from Walker Morris.
