US firm Squire Sanders & Dempsey has strengthened its new Spanish office with the addition of four Spanish associates. Squire Sanders now has six lawyers working in Madrid. Corporate specialist Josep Maria Julia becomes the second lawyer to join Squire Sanders from Madrid firm JYB Cremades y Asociados former Cremades tax specialist Javier Santos was one of the two lawyers who started up the office at the beginning of September. Maria Jose Verardini joins the firm from Coca-Cola's Spanish subsidiary. Rodrigo Achirica will join Squire Sanders' corporate practice from Burgos firm Alonso-Duran, while Almudena Larr anaga, who joins from Madrid firm Gomez-Acebo & Pombo, will run the library.
