Nottingham firm Berryman has elected a new managing partner. Founder and head of the property practice James Jarvis will replace incumbent Andy Matthews, who steps down after his second three-year term, at the end of the year. Jarvis said he will seek to ensure the firm is flexible enough to adapt to the post-Clementi legal world. Known as Berryman Shacklock until December 2005, seven -equity-partner Berryman turned over £6m in 2004-05.
