Former Symantec Corporation head of legal Romny Gray has joined BSI Group as director of legal affairs and company secretary, replacing Richard Catt.
Gray, who was unavailable for comment, stood down as Symantec’s legal head some time ago and until she left the company held the position of head of international corporate affairs for the Europe, Middle East and Africa regions.

Prior to joining Symantec, Gray was a corporate lawyer at Mitsui & Co, having begun her career at Clifford Chance.

At Symantec the top legal role has now been filled by Carolyn Herzog, who joined Symantec in 2000 when the software company acquired Axent Technologies, where she was general counsel.
