Complaining of complaints

There is mounting concern in the profession about the general distrust among solicitors and public of the Solicitors Complaints Bureau, and about the great unfairness to respondent solicitors in being denied resort to the Legal Services Ombudsman.

Something has to be done about this. I am therefore intending to arrange a seminar on the subject. This will probably be held at The Law Society's hall one Friday afternoon at 3pm, fairly soon.

Admission will be by invitation only, I have four volunteer speakers of substance already and would like to hear as soon as possible from anyone who would like an invitation.
