Birmingham giant No5 Chambers has continued to grow with the hire of Pinsents construction partner Christopher Kelly, The Lawyer can reveal.
The former head of construction at the firm’s Birmingham office joined No5 last month, following a three-month mini-pupillage.
A partner at Pinsents since 2001, Kelly was called to the bar in 1993. He specialises in PPP and PFI projects across the midlands.
“I felt I had achieved all I wanted at Pinsents and was in need of a different focus and greater academic and intellectual stimulation,” Kelly said.
The appointment takes to 30 the number of barristers in No5’s chancery and commercial team and brings to 148 the number of barristers at the set.
