Strange days

Strange daysRegular readers will know that Tulkinghorn’s scribes frequently see some rather strange sights at some rather strange parties. A Lycra-clad John Young suspended from the ceiling at a recent Lovells party springs to mind.

But the image of tax lawyers from Baker & McKenzie hobnobbing with such celebrities as Aisleyne from Big Brother 7 and Richard and Judy’s daughter Chloe at the opening night of London tourist attraction Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! is certainly one of the strangest.

The firm advised on the launch and were treated to a few tickets. And some quality time with the world’s most surgically modified person – Dennis ‘Cat Man’ Avner – who Tulkinghorn understands is having a panel review some time this year.
