Mind the sap

One of Tulkinghorn’s scribes was idling away the time on a choo-choo from the sticks the other day when his attention was drawn to the chap opposite.

He was clearly deep in thought, head buried in a file. The hack couldn’t help but notice that the dark blue ring-binder file had the legend ‘Clyde & Co‘ stamped in large letters near the top. Closer inspection revealed a sticker on the side proclaiming ‘Alien Ant Farm’.

Was this the code name for a major Clyde project or a sixth form-style profession of the chap’s favourite band? The truth may never be known. However, the dear man did leave behind his pen, which the hack, in true magpie tradition, claimed. It’s easily identifiable as it has “Kennedys” written on the side …
