Bonelli smashes €100m revenue ceiling

Slaughter and May‘s best friend in Italy Bonelli Erede Pappalardo, has posted record figures breaking through the €100m (£68.2m) barrier.

Revenue reached ?101m (£68.9m), a 17.4 per cent increase on last year’s figure of €86m (£58.7m). The figures were confirmed at this month’s partnership meeting, during which the partners voted to appoint Professor Laura Salvaneschi as a partner in the firm’s civil litigation practice.

Salvaneschi joins as a full equity partner from litigation boutique Lombardi Molinari e Associati. She is also a professor at the University of Milan, where she lectures on civil procedure and arbitration law.

The firm intends to push litigation as a core practice area and has appointed founding partner Sergio Erede to head the practice.
