Nabarro Nathanson banking and finance consultant Michael Vann has left the firm after allegations he breached unspecified procedures.
According to Nabarros senior partner David Bramson, Vann was asked to leave by the practice. He said the lawyer had “failed to comply with some of our internal procedures”.
But he declined to disclose further details, apart from saying that the matter had been viewed “very seriously”.
Vann, who is now a partner at the small Piccadilly firm Preston Rowse & Co, would not comment on the reasons behind his move.
“It has never been my practice to comment on matters that affect me personally,” he said.
Vann was originally a partner at Turner Kenneth Brown. Last year the firm's 21 partners and 75 fee earners merged with Nabarros.
