Clifford Chance has unveiled modest pay rises for junior lawyers, with newly-qualifieds (NQs) on £51,000 annually, a rise of £1,000. Salaries for first year-qualifieds jumped from £55,000 to £56,000. It marks the second NQ pay hike in two years. Last year, the firm increased NQs’ rates to £50,000, the same rate they enjoyed before the April 2003 salary review.
