Reaching for the top

Tulkinghorn is truly amazed at the lengths some lawyers will go to in the name of service. Or should one say heights?
Michael Ashley-Brown, Canary Wharf's highly-regarded general counsel, is a man who oozes enthusiasm for the job, and indeed the whole 'Canary Wharf experience', as Clifford Chance lawyers have fondly come to know it. Yet as he reminisced about early site visits on the estate, he recently confided to one of Tulkinghorn's scribes: “I actually don't like heights very much.”
Coming from a man who works on the 30th floor of the tallest working building in Europe, now that really is job commitment.
