A new law firm named Bright has been launched in Plymouth with lawyers from Bond Pearce and Baker & McKenzie.

Bright will be headed by Andy Price, an assistant who led a 10-lawyer personal injury team at Bond Pearce’s local arm.

The new firm will focus on corporate and commercial work for small to medium-sized businesses.

Price said: “We’re aiming for businesses in the nought to £10m range. We do have a couple of clients larger than that, but that’s a good sort of headache to have.”

Price will be joined by seven solicitors. These include Julia Moulding, the firm’s other partner and a former assistant at Bakers, and Paul Taylor, the former senior partner of Exeter firm Over Taylor Biggs.
