The Japan Centre at Birmingham University is holding a specialist one-day seminar that is aimed at helping lawyers improve and develop services for Japanese clients. It is one of series of business seminars relating to Japan. Stephanie Oyama, a consultant at top local firm Pinsent Curtis, is deputy director of the Japan Centre and main presenter of the series. She said she had recognised a need to hold a seminar especially for lawyers when they kept turning up to other seminars not directly aimed at the legal profession. The seminar will be held on 21 May at the Japan Centre at the university. For further details call 0121 414 3269.
