Eversheds defies slowdown with steady growth

Eversheds has continued its steady growth in turnover, increasing gross fee income by 13 per cent to £285m in the last 12 months.
“The firm’s had a good year, particularly when viewed in the context of current economic conditions,” said managing partner David Gray. “We’ve had significant growth in all practice groups, including corporate, with particularly strong performances in HR, litigation and dispute resolution,”
The HR department grew by 25 per cent, with litigation and dispute resolution just behind on 18 per cent. Real estate also made a double figure increase, up by 11 per cent.
Gray said a profit figure had not yet been finalised, but he was confident that there would be an increase.
