Dewey & LeBoeuf bolsters Warsaw real estate practice with Salans specialists

Dewey & LeBoeuf has strengthened its real estate practice in Warsaw with a team of lawyers from Salans.

Dewey & LeBoeuf has strengthened its real estate practice in Warsaw with a team of lawyers from Salans.

Marek Grodek, who was head of real estate and the France desk at Salans’ Warsaw office, will join the firm along with a team of three lawyers – senior associate Bartosz Clemenz and associates Katarzyna ­Sulimierska and Dominik Rafałko.

“Forecasts for Poland’s real estate market are increasingly optimistic and we’re confident that our Warsaw office will be able to build on its reputation in the market,” said Dewey & LeBoeuf’s Warsaw office managing partner Jarosław Grzesiak.

Grodek added: “We’re excited about joining Dewey & LeBoeuf’s office and building our practice on the basis of its strong standing.

“There’s a clear return of optimism in the real estate market in Poland and we expect to be busy in the coming months.”

Dewey & LeBoeuf’s ­Warsaw real estate team now has eight members, including three partners, a senior adviser, a senior associate and three associates.

In July this year Salans poached a team of real estate lawyers, including ­rainmaker Pawel Debowski, from ­Clifford Chance.
