Corporate partner David Hardie has been elected as non-executive chairman of Dundas & Wilson.
Hardie, who joined the firm as a trainee in 1976, takes over from outgoing chairman Michael Audley for a four-year term starting in June.
Hardie said: “It’s a great privilege to have been selected as chairman of the firm where I’ve spent my entire career.” Audley will continue as head of projects at the firm.
Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has upped its newly qualified (NQ) solicitor salaries to compete with the US market. NQ salaries have increased from £125,000 to £150,000.
