New blood takes over at Fenwick Elliott

Niche construction firm Fenwick Elliott is undergoing the most radical shake-up in its 20-year history, as name partner Robert Fenwick Elliott steps down as senior partner to become a consultant to the firm

His place will be taken by dispute resolution partner Simon Tolson.
Tolson's appointment coincides with the appointment of three new partners – Jeremy Glover and Matthew Needham-Laing – plus a lateral hire from Shoosmiths, Chris Whittington.
Tolson said: “Against the industry trend, the firm has grown at an unprecedented rate in the past 18 months, both in terms of numbers of new clients and in the size and value of projects undertaken.”
He added that to accommodate the expansion, the practice is acquiring significant additional premises near its headquarters in the Strand.
