Linklaters has secured the latest in a string of recent deals for Hermes Private Equity, advising on the acquisition of a stake in a holiday park operator.
HPE, a financial services group, obtained a £100m stake in Siblu Holdings, the owner and operator of eight of France’s premier holiday parks.
The Linklaters team was led by Richard Youle, private equity partner, supported by Tom Jaggers, an associate in the London office, together with a team drawn from various other practices in London and Paris.
Youle said this was the third deal this year in which Linklaters had advised Hermes Private Equity, following the Mayfair Gaming and Thomas Holdings transactions in April and August respectively.
In addition to the Siblu holiday parks, HPE’s 2006 transactions means the business now has stakes in three large Beacon Bingo clubs, and 24 Showboat adult gaming centres (AGCs).
