SOUTH east firm Iliffes Booth Bennett has set up a commercial unit in new offices at Uxbridge.
Six commercial lawyers have been drafted in to form a specialist business team at the new premises. The firm now has seven offices in the region.
The team, led by Susan Mawson, will deal with all aspects of commercial property work, commercial services and litigation.
Managing partner Steven Booth says: “We were organised on departmental lines but for the commercial client we saw advantages in breaking down the divisions.”
“The lawyers will now be able to bounce off each other better,” he adds.
Booth says that focusing resources for commercial clients will also improve marketing potential.
The firm, which is a member of LawNet, was founded earlier this year with the merger of Iliffes of High Wycombe and Uxbridge-based Booth Bennett to form a 19-partner practice. The new office is based at Lovell House in the High Street.
