Six months on from its US merger DLA Piper Rudnick Gray Cary has posted a profit rise for Europe and Asia of 13 per cent off the back of a turnover increase of 18 per cent.

Average profit per equity partner for 2005 in Europe and Asia was £535,000, up from £475,000 last year. Turnover for the same region increased from £275.4m to £324m.

Global turnover has broken through three-quarters of a billion, to £752m. Total headcount at DLA Piper is also up to 3,740, a rise of 6 per cent, while global headcount stands at 6,780.
