Taylor Wessing has elected a new managing partner for its French office.


Taylor Wessing has elected a new managing partner for its French office.

Media and entertainment partner Christian Valsamidis succeeds Arnaud de Senilhes, who will continue to practise at Taylor Wessing.

Valsamidis said: “I intend to get straight down to business and continue to develop Taylor Wessing France’s role within the firm’s international development strategy.”

He has been a partner in the Paris office since its establishment in 2003, specialising in media and entertainment law, an area in which he’s been advising independent film producers as well as prominent French and foreign directors for over 15 years.

He is also a lecturer at Sciences-Politiques in Paris.

Taylor Wessing is due to announce the profits of its international operations shortly but has announced its UK average profits per equity partner which have increased to £614,000 by 5 per cent (18 June).
