Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom partners Paul Schnell and Tom Greenberg have been unveiled as the partners leading the firm on the iconic InBev acquisition of Anheuser-Busch acquisition.
Skadden and Sullivan & Cromwell scooped lead roles on InBev’s $44.6bn acquisition of Budweiser owner Anheuser Busch.
If the hostile acquisition bid is accepted, it would create a drinks market giant owning approximately one quarter of the world’s beer market, including top brands Beck’s, Budweiser, Brahma and Stella Artois.
Sullivan & Cromwell partner Frank Aquila led the firm advising InBev, which is a longstanding Sullivan & Cromwell client.
The firm advised the group on its import agreement with Anheuser-Busch and the sale of Rolling Rock to Anheuser-Busch for $82m.
Sullivan & Cromwell M&A New York partners George Sampas, James Morphy and London partner Georg White also advised on the deal.
