GreenWorks set for host of law firm moves

With a host of law firms currently on the market for a new home, not-for-profit organisation GreenWorks looks set to have a bumper year.

The organisation is responsible for removing redundant office equipment and redistributing it to worthy groups in need.

Last year, the company redistributed 650 tonnes of furniture from Clifford Chance’s former office at 200 Aldersgate during the firm’s relocation to Canary Wharf. The year before, it shifted 40 tonnes of Lovells’ redundant furniture when it moved to Atlantic House in 2002.

The organisation has handled relocations for a number of large corporates, banks and government agencies, including the Department of Trade & Industry and Customs & Excise.

Both Lovells and Travers Smith Braithwaite act pro bono for GreenWorks.
