Where's the cox now?

Last week's Observer Sport Monthly contained one highly important piece of nostalgia for two of the UK's top City lawyers. Remember that day in March 1978 when, during the 124th Oxford/ Cambridge boat race, the Cambridge boat sank?

"We felt we handled bad conditions well and didn't need to alter our boat," Cambridge president Mark Horton told Observer Sport Monthly. And where is Mark Horton now? He is a corporate, commercial and financing partner at Slaughter and May. One suspects that his judgement has improved since then.

The same could be said of the cox Guy Henderson, who is now a litigation partner at Allen & Overy.

One top City partner comments: "Well, they're both great pullers aren't they?" Oooh, saucy.
