Cayman Islands law firm Walkers has launched an office in Hong Kong to service its Far Eastern clients on Caymans and British Virgin Islands law.

The office will enable Walkers to provide direct advice to its clients. Until now it has had to struggle with the time difference between its other offices and Hong Kong. Walkers has offices in the Caymans, the British Virgin Islands, London and Tokyo, which it opened last year.

The Hong Kong office, headed by partner Vicki Hazelden and senior assistant Nick Rogers, will advise on capital markets and structured finance, asset finance, investment funds, insolvency and corporate recovery.
