Linklaters has raided Shearman & Sterling’s Tokyo office, hiring its managing partner David Deck. Deck, a US-qualified structured finance lawyer, was a partner in Shearman’s Tokyo office for five years before joining Linklaters last week. He specialises in leveraged lease financings, securitisation transactions, project financings, cross-border mergers and acquisitions and private equity deals, principally in Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
