The former head of Osborne Clarke’s Bristol corporate practice has launched a niche firm of corporate lawyers.
Bruce Roxburgh, who left Osborne Clarke in February, has launched Roxburgh and Milkins LLP with a senior corporate lawyer from Osborne Clarke, Jason Milkins.
The two of them have been close colleagues for many years and share a number of strong client relationships.
The firm will specialise exclusively in providing lead legal advice and project management services to clients involved in corporate transactions. It aims to make the most of its tight cost base to provide a cost-effective service and to offer a personal, flexible style.
Milkins commented: “The enthusiasm and loyalty shown by our key clients and contacts has been very reassuring and confirms that, ultimately, it is individuals who hold the key to successful business relationships, regardless of whose name is above the door. We are extremely keen to see how far this model can be taken and believe that the extra choice offered by our entry to the market will be welcomed by those actively involved in corporate finance, both in Bristol and further afield.”
