Well, well, Skadden Arps Bruce Buck certainly is moving up in the world. At first, the London managing partner was one of many lawyers at the US firm who acted for Roman Abramovich as a shareholder in Russian oil group Sibneft. Then Buck was named as a director of Chelsea Village, the owning company of Chelsea Football Club. And now the lovely Bruce has been described, by the Evening Standard no less, as Abramovich’s “right-hand man”. What will Bruce be next? Abramovich’s consiglieri?
