Eversheds_office.jpg” alt=”Eversheds to make redundancies” />Eversheds is set to make up to 15 staff redundancies as the firm centralises its finance operations.

The reorganisation will see new finance teams operating out of London, Cardiff, Birmingham and Leeds and will serve the entire firm rather than the current set up where each office has its own department.

The firm is currently in the midst of the consultation, led by Eversheds financial director Claire Hafner, which will decipher how many finance posts will have to go.

A firm spokeswoman said that the review would be completed by the middle of November and that the centralisation of the finance operations department should be completed by spring next year.

“At the very top level there could be 15 redundancies but we’re expected it to be in single figures,” she said.

Once the consultation period has completed, affected staff will be given the opportunity to relocate to other offices.

Eversheds’ financial operations team is one of five divisions within the firm’s finance department, covering areas including billing, payroll and procurement.
