ASA clamps down on Taylor & Emmet advert

The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has upheld a complaint about Sheffield-based personal injury firm Taylor & Emmet

The advertisement, which appeared in the local press, encouraged parents to bring claims on behalf of their children following accidents. The final line of the advertisement read: “So next time your child comes in crying, just think, could this be a way of paying for the computer they keep asking for?” The ASA ruled that the advertisement was socially irresponsible.
