SJ Berwin’s respective senior ;and ;managing partners Jonathan Blake and Ralph Cohen look set to be re-elected to the roles after standing unopposed.
Nominations for the posts closed last Friday (12 December) and, as The Lawyer went to press, no one else had put their name forward for election.
One SJ Berwin partner commented: “I’d imagine that both will just go on without it being contested – we’re not a firm that’s used to changing leadership that regularly.”
Blake, formerly head of private equity at the firm, was first appointed as senior partner in 2005, replacing David Harrel, who held the position for four consecutive terms.
EU ;and ;competition partner Cohen has occupied the managing partner role since it was created in 2002.
