Wragge & Co has won a beauty parade to advise Slough Borough Council on a multimillion pound regeneration project.
Invitations to tender for the role of legal adviser on the “Heart of Slough” scheme were issued in January.
The project involves the development of a 29-acre town centre site for creative, media, information and communication industries.
A small group of law firms were chosen for an interview process, in which Wragges is understood to have been the only non-City firm under consideration.
Stephen Quayle, the council’s legal services chief officer, led the selection process.
The Wragges team, led by property partner Andrew Galla and comprising planning partner Dan Hemming and public sector associate Stephen Sellers, will advise on all aspects of the development, including infrastructure issues.
