Allen & Overy has been hit with a third partner departure in just one week.

Capital markets partner Angus Duncan, a CDO specialist, is understood to have quit the magic circle firm to join Cadwalader Wickersham & Taft.

His resignation comes within hours of the shock departure of Julian Tucker who is leaving the firm to join Shearman & Sterling and the announcement that Brussels partner David Harrison is to become Berwin Leighton Paisner‘s new head of EU and competition (both first revealed on www.thelawyer.com 16 March).

Earlier this month Cadwalader promoted capital markets lawyer Charles Roberts to partner as part of the US firm’s push into finance.
