Help for victims

Can any practitioners experienced in criminal compensation law offer assistance in the preparation of a handbook for survivors of violent crime? I am specifically seeking advice about the the data required by the Criminal Injuries Compensations Authority, the role of the solicitor, how to prepare a Schedule of Loss and some other aspects of the compensation process.

I am concerned that without some input from the legal profession, the finished result will lack the thoroughness I would have liked. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
