IT and telecoms specialist, Oscar Rowlands – who headed up Sabre's legal department for Europe, Middle East and Africa – joins Edge as a partner.
He will join the law firm's nine-lawyer Technology Law Group whose clients include Dolphin Telecommunications, Mindshare Digital and Blue Wave Systems.
Rowlands, who holds degrees in both law and computer science, is returning to private practice after years in-house. He was the Group Technology Legal Adviser for Standard Chartered Bank before moving to Sabre.
A CEDR accredited mediator since 1993, Rowlands has been involved in contentious and non-contentious legal matters involving IT and telecoms since 1987.
