Brabners Chaffe Street is set to embark on a major recruitment drive, with the North West firm intending to bulk up a number of its core practice areas.
Brabners is intending to recruit up to 18 assistants to bulk up its employment, corporate, property, private client and litigation departments.
The firm is seeking to boost its employment and private client departments by around 19 per cent and intends to increase headcount in the corporate department by a little more than 14 per cent.
Brabners managing partner Michael Brabner told The Lawyer: “While we’re always open to good-quality people, I can’t remember a time when we’ve ever actively looked for that many people at one time.
“The economy has been very strong, the firm is growing and we’re very busy.”
The firm’s growth strategy coincides with its impending move to new offices in the centre of Liverpool’s traditional business district in July.
Brabner said the new premises would have room to allow for an expansion in headcount of around 20 per cent.
