Loyens appoints Bertels chairman in board shake-up

Dutch heavyweight Loyens & Loeff has re-jigged its management board, with tax adviser Pim Bertels succeeding Philip van Hilten as chairman.

Board member Ronald Pfeiffer, a civil-law notary and attorney, has also stepped-down and has been succeeded by attorney Maarten Das.

Both van Hilten and Pfeiffer will continue to practise at Loyens.

From 1 September, van Hilten will focus his activities on the Luxembourg office while Pfeiffer returns to full-time practice splitting his time between the Rotterdam and Luxembourg offices.
