DLA has picked up Lancashire County Council as a new client after winning places on the local authority’s legal panels.
The shake-up of law firms sees DLA elbow long-time advisor Eversheds off the council’s litigation line-up. Though Eversheds, alongside Masons and Addleshaw Goddard, has been retained to provide commercial advice and will act on employment matters.
Lancashire County Council announced its commercial panel in November last year though only recently completed its chosen firms for litigation, employment, child protection and property.
The council’s child protection lawyers come from local practices Rostrons, Farleys, The Berkson Globe Partnership and Moorcroft Urquhart.
Brabners Chaffe Street, Masons, Cobbetts and Pinsents will represent the council on property issues.
