LEEDS-BASED Hammond Suddards has appointed a development specialist from City firm Wilde Sapte to act as director of development.
Robert Lee, who has worked as a visiting Professor of Law in Australia, headed research at Wilde Sapte for six years.
His new role will unite the practice development and marketing side of Hammonds with professional development and training. He will also advise on the use of information technology.
“I see myself as being at the interface between the lawyers and the delivery of internal services,” Lee says.
Lee is a visiting professor at Nottingham Law School's Centre of Advanced Litigation, co-editor of International Banking and Financial Law and author of Environmental Law Monthly.
Lee's appointment as Director of Development follows the announcement of a four-man executive at Hammonds Suddards and the arrival at the firm of two City commercial property specialists.
