The Kite Consultancy has bolstered its strategic consultancy service with the appointment of former DaimlerChrysler general counsel Chrissi Evans.
Evans, who quit as group general counsel at DaimlerChrysler in February to start up her own consulting business, teams up with Kite chief executive and former T-Mobile general counsel Julia Chain.
Evans said: “What I really liked about the Kite Consultancy is that it’s London-based and I think Julia’s skills as a consultant will complement mine.”
She said demand for independent consultants in the legal industry was increasing as law firms become more “client-driven”.
Evans is in the process of completing a research project into client relationship management through interviews with key general counsel and law firms.
Kite has now taken on five new consultants in the past two months including Matthew Di Rienzo, a qualified barrister, who was head of online R&D at Clifford Chance.
