Scottish firm Harper Macleod has launched an innovative benefits package aimed at offering employees of the firm’s key clients a range of services at discounted rates.

The new scheme, known as ’employee plus’, offers staff who are employed by Harper Macleod’s clients and their spouses a wide range of services at privileged fee rates, ranging from residential conveyancing, financial planning, pensions, family and matrimonial advice.

The benefits package, which is believed to be the first of its kind in Scotland, has already got Direct Line Insurance and construction firm Tulloch on board.

Harper Macleod managing partner Lorne Crerar said the service was launched in response to client demand. “Arising from this demand we decided to extend the service to the larger employer clients of the firm and so far the response has been encouraging,” he added.

A dedicated central phone line and email address will provide employees with a convenient resource for all enquiries.
