CC bolsters Paris with White & Case hire

Clifford Chance has raided White & Case, hiring employment partner François Farmine to ramp up its Paris office.

Farmine, who leaves White & Case after 14 years, will join the Paris office’s employment team, which currently has eight lawyers and sits within the litigation and dispute resolution group.

He specialises in employment law that relates to reorganising and restructuring operations as well as collective and individual labour disputes.

Yves Wehrli, managing partner of the magic circle firm’s Paris office, said that Farmine has a strong market reputation and will be a real asset to Clifford Chance’s employment law group.

Wehrli added: “His recruitment illustrates our commitment to this area in response to the many employment-related issues our clients face in the context of a major transaction or reorganisation, or in day-to-day management of HR.”
