Latham star quits for Tennenbaum Capital Partners

The former global co-chair of Latham & Watkins’ M&A practice has joined Tennenbaum Capital Partners as a managing partner.

Hugh Steven Wilson retired from Latham at the beginning of the year to join the California-based private investment firm.

Wilson has been Tennebaum’s primary outside counsel since the firm was launched in 1986. He has worked at Latham for 32 years, working in a number of senior management roles. In addition to his spell as co-chair of M&A, Wilson has also headed the firm’s litigation group.
