Nike has named Jim Carter as its new vice president and general counsel. Carter has been with the sports giant as general counsel for the US and the Americas since 1998, when he joined from Portland law firm Schulte Anderson Downes & Carter. He replaces Lindsay Stewart, who has moved into a wider business role as vice president chief of staff.
