Drummer's stud wrangle

Multi-millionaire and Rolling Stone's drummer Charlie Watts is heading to the High Court in a battle with two employees of his u3m Devon stud farm. Watts is suing Paul and Joan Atkinson, who have been employed to work at his 100-acre Halsdon Farm estate at Winkleigh, Devon, for the past eight years. In his writ he accuses the Atkinsons of buying animal feed and equipment for the business and then selling it for their own profit. Watts runs the business, which specialises in breeding Arabian Horses, with his wife Shirley through a company called Halsdon Arabians. The action is being taken in the company name.
